Diploma in Modern Office Practice (MOP) formally known as Diploma in Commercial Practice (DCP) has been functioning since 1980, the year in which the institution was established.
Students are taught various Commerce subjects such as Communication English, Elements of Commerce, Principles of Economics, Banking, Principles of Accountancy, Business Organisation, Financial Accounting, Business Management, Business Statistics, Advanced Financial Accounting, Partnership Accounting, Cost Accounting, Marketing, Business Law, Corporate Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, Business Accounting, Business Communication, Environmental Science and Income Tax (Law & Practice)
The practical subjects help the students to grasp the principles better but experimentation or implementation of the principles without the underlying knowledge would be rootless. The students are given intense training in computer subjects namely Office Automation Lab, Desktop Publishing Lab (DTP), RDBMS - Oracle Lab, Accounting Package – Tally 9 with GST, Office Machineries and Equipments Lab.
